Difficult Positive Budapest

My interview process started off with friendly, informal conversations—yet it felt selective. I moved through multiple rounds over phone or video, and then I reached a face-to-face onsite in Budapest. The onsite itself was long—about four hours—with different people testing both my fit and my approach.

HR, the manager, and future colleagues all came across as genuinely positive and welcoming, which made the process feel much less adversarial than I expected. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to finish the onsite experience because I had to stop the process for private reasons. I never saw a full conclusion like an offer decision, and the hardest part was that I had liked the people and the overall company reputation enough that it felt unfinished when I had to step away.
