After that, I had a frontend component coding interview where I was given a very basic mockup and had to build a component. The goal wasn’t just to code blindly; I was expected to gather requirements by asking questions, and the ambiguity of the prompt was a real part of the challenge.
Once I finished the coding portion, I had an interview with the head of performance, and then I went into a culture interview. The recruiter had given me a lot of information about what to expect and helped me prep, which made the process feel more navigable even though the questions themselves were demanding.
