Average Positive Toronto, ON

My interviews followed a clear, supportive flow. I remember the process covering a mix of topics—React and Spring, system design-style discussion, plus SQL and general problem solving.

What stood out was how the interviewers stayed engaged and helped me work through my thinking. Instead of shutting things down, they gave hints that let me reach a solution on my own, which made the sessions feel collaborative even while still technical.

My process started with a quick single-round selection that covered a pretty broad Java backend sweep. I was asked about Java multi-threading and streams, plus Spring Boot and SQL. There were also scenario-based questions, and what stood out was the emphasis on the Java memory model.

I remember the timeline feeling structured: after applying, the recruiter got back quickly with a few questions, and I responded the same day. About a week later I was sent a Codility assessment, which I finished right away, and then I moved into the technical interview after that. Overall, it felt like a solid evaluation of how I reason about Java internals and real-world scenarios.
