After I completed an assessment and a coding test, I got a message to schedule an interview. The follow-up never really arrived, and I never got a clear reason for the stall. It was one of those experiences where you keep checking for updates, but the process just… stops.
Later, I also had a more involved version of the same kind of disappointment: multiple stages, including a take-home coding challenge and then interviews on site that were mostly technical. After all that effort, I wasn’t given any meaningful feedback, and there was zero communication afterward. I was left to assume things had gone poorly simply because nobody reached back out.

I only made it through a phone interview, and it felt pretty straightforward from the start. The questions leaned basic and covered front-end fundamentals and my work context. I remember being asked things like what the box model is, the difference between jQuery and JavaScript, and what XHTML and HTML are. I also got questions about why I wanted to leave my current job.
The call didn’t feel particularly intimidating, but I didn’t progress to the next round, which made me think I hadn’t landed well enough on what they were looking for. I left with the impression that the bar was a bit higher than the “basic” tone made it sound. Overall it was an easy process to sit through, but the result was disappointing.
