After a recruiter screening, about a week later I had a one-hour technical knowledge interview. The main thing they had me do was walk through a typical CI/CD pipeline end to end, like I was explaining the flow from start to finish.
They also probed my thinking around observability—monitoring in particular—focusing on what kinds of alerts I’d set up and how I’d handle safer releases, including auto rollback. The difficulty felt average overall: it wasn’t trick questions, but they wanted practical clarity. I didn’t end up getting an offer, though the interview itself felt like a straightforward test of whether I understood the operational side of delivery.

Average Positive United Kingdom
I went through a really smooth sequence of rounds that felt more like a conversation than a test. The stages moved quickly, and the people I spoke with were especially friendly throughout.
My path looked like HR first, then a hiring manager round focused on my background and experience. After that, I had a system design interview, and the process ended with a values interview. The overall difficulty felt average, but the tone made it easier to focus on explaining my thinking rather than just trying to “perform.” I didn’t receive an offer, but I left with the feeling that the process was well run and the evaluation was fairly conversational.
