That was followed by an on-site interview with a manager where the tone turned technical and hands-on.
During that manager stage, I got challenged on project management methods and even practical Excel-related topics, and there was also a deeper confrontation of my past experiences—how I’d done things, why I’d made certain choices, and what tradeoffs I consider. For the harder part, I ended up with a case study tied to a real-world scenario: a construction-focused situation where the company needed enough capital to expand internationally, and the task pushed me to structure analysis and recommendations around constraints.
