Average Positive Dearborn, MI

After being brought in for the overall role conversation, I went into an interview that mixed general technical questions with behavioral ones. The format felt like a typical screening—enough depth to see whether my day-to-day experience mapped to what they needed, but not so extreme that it felt like a stress test.

When I passed that stage, the process moved closer to the department itself. I had discussions directly with the manager of the team I’d be contracting with, and the conversation leaned heavily on how I’d handled projects and what I’d built or worked on before. There was definitely a “fit and communication” component to it; the tone felt friendly and conversational rather than cold.
