Easy Positive Budapest

I had a short hiring process with a maximum of two rounds. The interview itself lasted about an hour and involved HR, a tech lead, and a manager. The questions were professional and designed to assess my knowledge level, but what they emphasized more was my attitude.

I liked that the format wasn’t overly complicated, and I didn’t feel bounced between too many people or stages. The tone stayed constructive.

Average Negative Budapest

I got pulled into a multi-stage process that started with a phone interview about a week after applying. That call was short—about 30 minutes—and then I waited roughly a month and a half to move forward into a larger technical/culture-fit round.

When I got invited to that next stage, there were several interviewers involved: multiple people on the panel, including developers and managers plus HR. The round was a mix of technical questions and soft-skill questions, and they framed it around potential project opportunities. Later, I went through two more project-focused interviews, each also combining technical and behavioral discussion, before a final conversation with unit leads.
