Booking Frontend Engineer Interview Experiences 2026
Real, anonymous reports from people who interviewed for Frontend Engineer at Booking, newest first and distilled into what to expect across the loop.
The process moved quickly for me. It started with a take-home task on the HackerRank platform with a one-hour time limit. After completing that, I had a technical interview, and then I went into a team-fit style interview. Even though it was short, it still included both coding demonstration and collaboration-style evaluation, and the whole thing felt like it was designed to finish without dragging on.
My process dragged more than it needed to, but the interviews themselves were easy to follow. I was asked questions that were relatively straightforward and felt pleasant to answer, and the overall setup didn’t feel hostile or confusing. Still, I wasn’t accepted, and what bothered me most was that not everything I asked could be answered clearly by the people I spoke with.
