Right after HR scheduled my interview, the format didn’t line up with what I expected. I was told to expect DSA-style work, but the assignment turned into building a small frontend game from scratch under a tight 50-minute limit, with styling, component structure, logic, and everything bundled into one sprint. I remember thinking it was hard to reconcile with the time box.

In the next stage, the pattern matched a typical recruiter-to-engineer flow: an HR screen first to cover company context and light discussion, then a technical round where an engineer would ask a technical question and run a live coding session. That combination made the process feel consistent on structure, even though the earlier mismatch between “DSA” and a game-building task threw me off.
