Average Negative United States

The whole process felt oddly disjointed for me. In my case, the HM joined late, and we ended up waiting around ten minutes before we could really start. The HR interviewer was accommodating about it, but the format still felt off—there was an expectation to share video and screen, yet the HM never shared their own camera. It struck me as rude, and it set a negative tone right away.

When the questions started, I couldn’t tell what they were really looking for. There weren’t any hints to steer the conversation, so the discussion stalled wherever I happened to guess the intent. It felt like I needed to already know the exact answers they had in mind rather than have room to reason through my thinking.

Difficult Positive New York, NY

My technical interview was intense right away. It was about 15 minutes of quick, straightforward questions focused on runtime complexity, and the timing felt tight with three questions under five-minute timers. After that, the interview shifted into a longer coding segment—around 45 minutes of coding—with simple data-structure style problems.

I worked through one or two medium LeetCode-style questions, and the open-ended parts required the solution to run through several test cases. It wasn’t the kind of round where you could be vague; the whole structure pushed for both correctness and performance.
