I went through three rounds: first a conversation to get to know the role and me, then a technical round with no coding, and finally a longer two-hour technical session. By the end of that run, I felt like I’d done solid work and matched what they were looking for.

Still, I didn’t receive an offer. In one place, I remember finishing near the top but ultimately they went with another candidate. In another point, after the manager round there was basically no follow-up—no offer initiated and no meaningful response afterward. The experience was frustrating mainly because the process had taken effort and time, but the final communication didn’t give much closure. I left feeling like I’d been evaluated, but not in a way that respected how long the journey took.
