Difficult Neutral Seattle, WA

My interview process took about four weeks end to end, and scheduling moved quickly once I got through the early stages. I started with a recruiter screen, then had a hiring manager phone interview, and finally reached a panel interview.

By the time I got to the panel, I was in the part of the process that felt most like an evaluation of how I performed under a group setting. The timeline and sequence stayed consistent, and each stage felt like it built on the one before.

My first step involved a recruiter screening, and then I met with two engineers. There was only one round centered on a presentation, and it ended up being one of the most helpful parts of the process because it gave me a clean way to pitch my background.

The format was pretty straightforward: I presented, and then the interviewers asked questions. My discussions after the presentation included technical questions connected to the work—things like keeping the project aligned to the role and then answering follow-ups. When technical questions came up, they also pulled in general concepts like computer architecture and how my specific experience connected to it.
