My Bloomberg interview run was mostly a technical loop: LeetCode-style problems with enough structure that I could focus on problem-solving, and then later rounds that mixed in the non-coding side. Across the technical interviews, I ended up tackling two LeetCode mediums per interview, and I tried to stay focused on explaining how I’d arrive at an optimal solution rather than just jumping to code.
Some of the sessions had that slightly staged feel where the interviewer would guide if I got stuck, but the main expectation was still that I could reason through and implement the approach cleanly. The way I talked through my decisions mattered, especially around arriving at the best time/space tradeoffs.

My process felt pretty smooth end to end. In the first round, I got a single DSA problem on the harder side (a LeetCode hard–style prompt), and I also had to introduce myself and talk through at least one project from my background.
During the project discussion, the interviewer asked cross questions that probed how I built and reasoned about the work—not just what I did. What helped was that when I got stuck, the interviewer was willing to steer me with hints rather than shutting me down. The overall tone stayed collaborative, which made the hard question feel less intimidating than the label suggested.
