Difficult Neutral Sunnyvale, CA

I started with two phone interviews with hiring managers. Those calls mostly revolved around my past experience, and they didn’t feel overly hard—more like a structured walkthrough of what I’d done and how I talked about it. After that, I went onsite for about three hours and met six different staff members.

The onsite was much more technical and intense. I ended up doing detailed explanations of my past projects, and the process also included a comprehensive written test. The interviewers were very direct and challenging throughout, and it felt like they were trying to see how deep my technical understanding really went, not just whether I could describe work at a high level.
