I talked with a recruiter in the first step, and then about a week later I ended up doing another conversation with an HR manager. They already knew I’d interviewed with the same person before, so right away the discussion centered on whether I was still available and how open I was to moving forward.
We kept it fairly practical. I was asked questions about how I’d approach customers, and they brought up credit card metrics as something I’d be expected to understand and discuss in role-related ways. I also got questioned about what department I wanted, since I had applied through a career fair for a flex selling position but later wanted full-time work. The system had denied my full-time men’s shoes application, so the manager focused on where I could fit.

Easy Positive United States
My interview experience was basically built around quick screening and then confirming I was a good match for the sales floor. The first part was either a short call or a brief discussion with an HR contact, and then I met with the department manager. Even when it wasn’t a formal “many round” situation, it still felt structured enough that I understood what they expected day to day.
In the conversations, the topics stayed familiar and uncomplicated: availability, basic work history, and why I wanted the job. I talked about being comfortable with customers and how I’d acknowledge people when they walked in. A few of the managers asked about where I wanted to work, what hours I could handle, and what my experience looked like. Sometimes it also felt like they wanted to hear a little about life outside of work, and whether I was dependable.
