After the initial introduction step, I ended up doing two DSA-focused questions. One was around binary trees and the other was about subarray optimization. I managed to solve both, but the interviewers still pushed with follow-ups like walking through a dry run of my code and explaining particular sections of my reasoning.
Even though the technical portion went well, the process felt oddly stalled after that. It had been about two months with no update either way—no confirmation of the next rounds and no rejection. With one of the conversations, the first part felt extremely structured, while the second interview felt looser, with the interviewer asking a wider spread of questions rather than sticking to a tight flow.

Average Positive Calgary, AB
I applied and received an online assessment about a week after I submitted my application, and that ended up being the first meaningful step I did. I didn’t have an HR phone screening at all; I just went straight from applying into the OA. The questions were my main focus, and I treated it like the gatekeeper for the rest of the process.
After that, I didn’t see much movement for a while—my overall experience was basically waiting for the next steps, but I couldn’t get any clarity on what would come next. Months passed without an update, and eventually the lack of follow-through just left the process feeling unfinished.
