Average Negative France

What to expect

Distilled from the reports

Interview Structure & Stages

The interview process typically involves multiple stages, starting with an HR call, followed by technical and managerial interviews, and sometimes a client-facing discussion. Candidates noted that while the structure was clear, the number of stages can feel excessive and lead to a prolonged experience.

Technical Evaluation & Focus

Technical assessments vary in depth, with some candidates experiencing light coding questions and others facing broader discussions about past projects and problem-solving approaches. The focus often leans more towards behavioral and situational questions rather than rigorous technical testing.

Communication & Follow-up

Many candidates reported a lack of follow-up after interviews, leading to feelings of uncertainty and frustration. While initial communications were often clear, the absence of timely feedback or updates left candidates feeling disconnected from the process.

Candidate Experience & Atmosphere

The overall atmosphere during interviews is generally described as friendly and supportive, with interviewers appearing genuinely interested in candidates' backgrounds. However, some candidates experienced discomfort due to specific questions or a lack of understanding from interviewers.

Expectations vs. Reality

Candidates often felt that the reality of the interview process did not align with their expectations, particularly regarding the availability of open positions and the purpose of the interviews. Some felt it was more about building a candidate database than actual hiring.
