After a recruiter outreach, I moved into a bridge stage that led me to a final round invitation. That final stretch had an online technical assessment followed by a set of case interviews: first a one-case segment, then two case interviews back to back. The structure was split, with behavioral covering the first half and the case conversation taking over in the second half.

I felt like the process was more demanding than it looked on paper because it wasn’t just “do a case,” it was “switch modes” quickly—first dealing with fit and then going straight into an interviewee-led case where I had to drive the flow of how the problem was unpacked and solved. The cases themselves were challenging enough that I had to keep my thinking tight and my communication clear.

Difficult Positive Munich, Bavaria

My process had a very time-boxed cadence that started with a short mutual introduction. After that, I went into a longer personal fit conversation focused on motivation and suitability, then I had to solve a case within a set window. The structure also included quick wrap-up questions where I had a chance to ask things back.

What made it feel distinct was how the entire sequence was repeated across languages: I did the process once in German and then again in English, and after that I went through additional BCG Real Life style situations—scenario conversations framed as if I were discussing a situation with someone like a CEO. It felt like they wanted to test not just my case logic, but how I communicated and adjusted depending on the scenario.
