After an initial recruiter screening by phone, I ended up in a multi-round process that felt fairly structured but still challenging. First came a conversation with HR to cover eligibility and general background, then I moved into a panel-style interview with several interviewers. The questions blended technical prompts with behavioral topics, and the overall difficulty depended on how well I could connect my experience to what the role would actually require.
As the process went on, I had to demonstrate more than just “can you explain what you’ve done.” There was a strong emphasis on English and flexibility with language: at one point the discussion shifted languages on the fly, which definitely tested my ability to stay composed. I also experienced a role-focused technical conversation that covered the job and cultural fit, followed by a take-home technical challenge that added a lot of weight to the process.

Average Neutral Taoyuan
My process felt smooth and low-drama from the start. I went through a brief HR-style introduction and then progressed to interviews led by management. The hiring manager came across as open-minded and genuinely nice, and they spent time explaining the position and the department, along with how the team and benefits worked.
Overall, there were only two main interview steps for me. One was a manager discussion over the phone, and the second was an in-person panel interview that included a technician plus the hiring manager and an engineer. The panel mixed some technical questions with behavioral prompts, and I remember it feeling straightforward—more about how I communicated and how I’d fit than about trying to catch me off guard.
