Average Positive Australia

My first step was an online HireVue, and it was pretty standard in feel: behavioral prompts mixed with analytical questions. I remember having to respond to scenarios as if I were an employee and deciding how I would handle them, which made it feel a bit less scripted than a purely “tell me about yourself” style screen.

After that, the process shifted into virtual interviews focused more on motivation and on digging into my CV. The later round felt similar in tone, with personality and behavioral themes taking more of the spotlight than technical depth. Even with the analytical questions earlier, the overall journey didn’t feel like a nonstop technical test—it felt more like they were trying to understand how I think and whether I’m the kind of person who would work well in the role.

My path to the final rounds felt layered and staffed by higher-level people. After an initial computer screening and an HR call, I went into a sequence of interviews with ED-level staff. There was also a business-focused technical test before the superday kicked off, centered on the role’s context and the kind of technical knowledge they expected.

Superday itself was the real workload: I had multiple back-to-back interviews with MD-level staff, and one of the conversations included a group discussion around business-specific situations meant to test how I solved problems under pressure. Most of the questions leaned heavily toward “know your stuff,” and while the behavioral pieces existed, the technical depth was what made it feel difficult.
