I started with a pretty low-key conversation where an associate asked about my background and why I wanted to move, mostly centered on fit rather than deep technicals. The vibe felt straightforward and easy to talk through, and I remember walking away feeling like I could speak comfortably about what I’d done before.
After that initial round, the process was still moving and I was continuing to advance. Across the interview, the technical part (when it came up) stayed basic—things like walking through the main financial statements and discussing valuation at a high level—paired with motivation-style questions about what I was looking for. Overall it felt more like confirming we were aligned than trying to test my limits.

My interview journey felt structured and VP-led, which made it clear they cared about both how I thought and how I showed up. I first went through a behavioral-focused round with a VP, where the discussion centered on my experience and how I fit the role.
Then I moved into a more technical round with another VP, with the emphasis staying conversational rather than adversarial. After that, there was a short run of additional rounds before the superday, where I had three back-to-back interviews. The superday felt very culture- and history-focused—past experience came up a lot, and the whole process leaned toward making sure my style and motivation matched what the team was looking for. I ended up receiving an offer, and honestly the process felt like they were trying to find a true match rather than catch me off guard.
