After a recruiter touchpoint, I got pulled into a pretty structured sequence where they anchored a lot of the questions around my resume. There were back-to-back interviews after the initial screening: one technical round that dug deep into the ML work I’d listed, with follow-ups on the choices I’d made—what trade-offs I considered and why I decided on certain approaches—and then a second interview that was more about fit.
The technical side felt resume-driven rather than theory-first, and I kept getting pushed to justify decisions rather than just describe them. On the assessment side, the process included a timed online test with 75 multiple-choice questions in 90 minutes, split across aptitude and logical reasoning plus data interpretation, and then a technical segment that covered SQL, Excel, and C output.

My process started with an aptitude-style round, and after that I moved into a technical interview that felt on the easier end. The technical portion leaned into fundamentals and practical concepts—things like stats concepts alongside databases, and a coding/maths mix that included database fundamentals and Microsoft Excel topics. The questions weren’t presented as wildly complex, but there was enough variety that I had to stay sharp and switch gears quickly.
After the technical round, I had an HR interview. That part was mainly behavioral, and I remember keeping the conversation grounded in career direction and motivation rather than reciting technical knowledge. Even when I answered confidently, they still probed the way I was thinking and how I communicated.
