Easy Neutral New York, NY
My process started with an intro conversation where the recruiter covered logistics and we talked through compensation and benefits. After that, I went through a technical screen that, honestly, felt pretty straightforward for me. The next step focused more on soft skills, and that’s where I felt a bit pressured—there were lots of questions and scenarios that I wasn’t ready for, and it came off more intense than the earlier rounds.
A recruiter had also reached out to me initially through LinkedIn, and after the first screening call I met a couple of engineers onsite. Overall, the people I interacted with were friendly and easy to talk to, and that tone mattered a lot to me while I was deciding whether to move forward. The whole sequence felt manageable and relatively quick, but the client/fit-style conversations were the part that took the most mental energy because the questioning kept coming.
