After a recruiter discussion, I moved into a multi-round loop that felt very structured: a coding-focused technical round, then two additional technical rounds, and finally an HR discussion. The technical rounds were built around a mix of day-to-day engineering fundamentals and deeper language concepts. I was asked whether I had experience with both .NET and Angular, and I talked through how I write test cases in Angular.
The programming portion leaned beyond just algorithms. I had to write example code for custom middleware in .NET Core, then produce a backend extension method in C# as well. On the SQL side, I remember a “students/marks” style scenario: identify students who did not appear in the English exam, and then rewrite the same idea using an alternative query approach. I also got hit with conceptual questions like the closure concept in .NET/TypeScript, and the differences between events and delegates, including writing code to declare an event.
