Difficult Negative Parsippany, NJ

My process started over Zoom and initially felt promising. I connected with the interviewer in a way that made it feel more like a real conversation than a formal interview, and that gave me genuine hope. After that, the recruiter brought me in for an onsite interview, and they estimated it would take about two hours.

I spent a lot of money to get there—flight, rental car, and other expenses—and when I arrived in Parsippany, NJ, the manager greeted me warmly. The moment the interview actually began, everything flipped. The manager became hostile and arrogant, with a level of disrespect that really threw me off. When I tried to ask questions, I got shut down rather than engaged. It felt like an absolute mismatch between how I’d been treated at the start and how the interview turned.

Average Positive Miami, FL

My first step was a Codility assessment with three separate sections: multiple-selection questions tied to .NET/C#, a small React application, and an SQL query. Most of it felt entry-level, but it still covered a spread of areas, so I had to switch gears a few times while working through it.

Not long after, I went into a two-hour on-site interview. Most of the time was centered on TypeScript—its concepts and why it matters—then there was a short system design question and a whiteboard coding task that was described as LeetCode-easy level. It was a mix of depth on the front-end tooling side and just enough design thinking to see how I approached a broader problem.
