Average Positive Berlin

After a recruiter call, the process moved fairly quickly into multiple technical touchpoints. The first screen felt like a guided set of questions in the Java ecosystem—enough to see whether my background matched what they were building. Then I sat through a deeper technical session that leaned heavily on language and framework fundamentals; the emphasis felt less about memorized syntax and more about how I approached problems. The interviewers stayed focused on my mindset for working through issues, not just whether I could recite details.

Next came live coding that felt intentionally iterative: I wrote a simple feature, then had to improve it, while also dealing with constraints like keeping it “plain Java” (no dependency injection). That round also pulled in practical topics like CI/CD, which surprised me compared to more typical coding-only formats. After that, I went into a longer system-design discussion, and toward the end there was a final conversation about real-life development scenarios, including how I’d think during production issues.

Easy Negative Türkei

I didn’t make it past an early stage, but the first interview itself was pleasant enough. They asked mostly basic background questions to get a picture of my experience, and after the call they told me the interview went well and they would schedule the next step.

The problem was that nothing happened afterward. They decided to move on with other candidates without arranging the follow-up meeting, and I never got the continuation I was led to expect. I ended up with no offer, and honestly the main reflection I had was how much the outcome depended less on the interview conversation and more on whether the process actually followed through afterward.

Outcome & Candidate Reflections

Overall, many candidates left the process without offers, often feeling that the outcome was less about their performance and more about the interview process itself. Reflections commonly included a desire for clearer communication and a more coherent structure throughout the interviews.
