I went through a full five-round loop and felt like I performed strongly most of the way. After the recruiter stage, the process moved quickly into the technical and behavioral parts, and overall it seemed to be tracking well.
What ended it for me was education verification. After I clarified my educational background during a background check—because my CV and profile described a postgraduate degree in the European way of naming degrees—the team apparently treated it like it was missing a BSc. The job post said “or equivalent,” but the interpretation didn’t seem to match that. After I clarified, the recruiter stopped responding and I went quiet for 7+ business days while an open conversation that she started just died.

Difficult Positive Ciudad de Mexico
My process felt long and pretty intense from the start. It was panel-style, with multiple interviewers popping in and out during extended sessions, and in a day or two I ended up covering directors, managers, and peers. The overall vibe was demanding but still structured.
I was told I passed and that I was essentially moving toward an offer, which made it feel like things were close. But I never received anything for months afterward. Eventually my best guess was that the pipeline got frozen around the end of year.

Behavioral Evaluation
Behavioral interviews are integrated throughout the process, often centered around Audible's People Principles, and candidates are expected to provide structured responses using the STAR method. Clear communication of past experiences and alignment with company values is essential.
