I started with an online “business strengths” conversation that felt almost entirely non-technical. The interviewer didn’t ask for engineering knowledge at all; instead, the focus was on how I thought through potential project considerations and how well I understood the business side of delivery. It was future- and motivation-focused, with questions around why I wanted the role and how the business itself works.
The whole thing had a calm, conversational tone, and I remember realizing I wouldn’t be judged on technical depth. I felt like the main bar was whether I could explain my reasoning clearly and connect my motivation to the kind of work the company actually does. I left feeling like I represented myself well, but I didn’t end up getting an offer.

Difficult Positive Bengaluru
I had a pretty strong, technical interview that felt more difficult than the earlier stages I’d experienced. Both technical and practical questions came up, and the conversation centered heavily on standards. I remember realizing I needed to have that material ready—more than just general engineering knowledge.
The way it was framed made it clear the interviewer expected me to be precise about how standards connect to real work. The best preparation for me ended up being reviewing standards first and making sure I could reference them naturally when explaining my thinking.

Interview Structure & Flow
The interview process typically consists of multiple rounds, starting with HR screening followed by technical assessments and behavioral interviews, often blending different types of questions throughout. Candidates should expect a mix of technical, behavioral, and situational questions that reflect real-world scenarios.
Many interviews emphasize behavioral questions, often framed around past experiences and motivations, requiring candidates to articulate their thought processes and align their goals with the company's mission. Candidates should prepare for questions that ask them to share specific examples of their past work and how it relates to the role.

Technical Assessments & Standards
Technical interviews often cover specific engineering knowledge and standards relevant to the role, with an emphasis on clarity and structured reasoning rather than just factual recall. Candidates should be prepared to discuss technical concepts in detail and demonstrate their understanding of industry standards.
Interviews frequently assess candidates' ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with others, often through scenario-based questions that simulate real work situations. Candidates should be ready to demonstrate how they would handle teamwork and client interactions.
The overall tone of interviews tends to be conversational and supportive rather than adversarial, which can help candidates feel more at ease. Candidates should expect a friendly atmosphere that encourages open dialogue and thoughtful responses.
Feedback and communication after the interview can be slow or unclear, with some candidates reporting a lack of follow-up or updates on their application status. It's advisable for candidates to be prepared for potential delays and to follow up proactively if they do not hear back.
