After applying, I was pulled into an online HackerRank-style technical assessment with a few algorithm problems and REST/API knowledge mixed in. The test ran for about 3.5 hours, and it included multiple LeetCode-style coding questions plus a REST API–focused prompt. Some of the questions were written in a way that felt a little odd at first, but once I figured out what they were actually asking, a few became more reasonable.
The coding questions leaned heavily into topics like dynamic programming and also included generator-related work, and at least one prompt-style question sat in the medium range. I also remember running into variations where something labeled “medium” could feel like “hard” depending on how it was framed, plus SQL that was tough enough to slow me down. The scoring pressure was real because the time window was tight and the later questions didn’t get easier.
