My experience for this role involved multiple interviews across HR and management layers, including a business unit manager, a team manager, and even the CEO. Honestly, it felt like the conversations were more about them describing the role than about truly listening to what I’d say or understanding my background. There were only a few questions that were meant to get a real picture of me.
Even where the process seemed to be going through the motions of multiple stakeholders, I walked away thinking that some of the explanations I received were vague or possibly didn’t map cleanly to what was actually true. The effort on their side didn’t feel balanced toward evaluation; it felt tilted toward presentation.

I applied online and got a quick call back from the recruiter the same day, then scheduled a 1:1 with the hiring manager for the next day. The hiring manager was friendly and the interview felt strong. We even discussed salary and benefits directly, and halfway through the conversation he pulled up his calendar to arrange the technical interview with the team.
I came in for the technical session the Monday after, because the main technical person wasn’t available earlier in the week. In that in-person technical round, I felt like I aced the technical part and also that my personality fit what they needed. I was told they had additional interviews scheduled and that I’d hear back by Friday.
