My process started with fairly practical automation work. I was asked to walk through core C# concepts, but it didn’t stay theoretical for long. One interview centered on designing a full working frame in Selenium using C#, and the other round dug into automation framework thinking—especially around BDD and Cucumber. I remember the interviewer being cooperative, and that made the hands-on parts feel less stressful than I expected.
In the framework-oriented discussion, they wanted me to connect the dots between how I’d structure automation and how I’d approach scenarios using those tools. The questions still felt like “how would you actually build this,” not just “what do you know,” and that made it easier to demonstrate how I think.

Average Positive Gurgaon, Haryana
After a recruiter touchpoint, I ended up in a sequence that felt very testing-focused from the start. The early discussion began with my background—my current responsibilities and what I’d been doing day to day—and then it quickly turned into questions on testing fundamentals. I remember getting pulled into a lot of topics in one sitting: why testing matters, what automation brings, and how I thought about prioritization and coverage. They asked scenario-style questions too, but the wording stayed pretty general, so it was hard to guess exactly what level of detail they wanted.
The process leaned heavily on talking through a test plan, strategy, and how to think about agile and execution. At times it felt like they were covering everything they could fit into the hour, and even when I felt confident, the pace didn’t slow down. Overall it was an average-difficulty experience that left me with the impression they were assessing breadth of testing thinking more than one specific specialty.
