My timeline dragged on and the coordination problems started before I even finished the core rounds. The whole process took months rather than weeks, and it was difficult to get reliable updates—HR felt hard to reach and I kept waiting after completing scheduled stages. Even when I tried to follow up, I’d get vague responses or no response at all, which made it hard to gauge whether I was still in the running.
Technically, the work itself was still a mix of assessments and live interviews. I went through an initial written-style test and at least one live coding round, followed by deeper stages that included system or database design type work and a hiring-manager level discussion. The topics were broad enough that it felt like they expected a full-stack breadth mindset, but the biggest stress came from not knowing where the process stood.

Negative Bangalore
For Arcesium, what I found most frustrating was how unresponsive the process felt after I’d been through the initial stages. I never even received a call that would explain how things worked or how compensation and the overall process were handled.
It left me feeling pretty disconnected from the company. Instead of getting clarity or a follow-up conversation to understand what was coming next, the communication just didn’t happen, and that uncertainty made the experience much less constructive than it could’ve been.
