I went through an online coding assessment and then into more direct technical conversations. In my case, the coding step didn’t feel especially steep, and the follow-up with a team member was meant to go over my experience with some behavioral questions mixed in. The behavioral portion felt a little awkward, and the interviewer’s delivery made it harder to read the room.
Even though I felt like I was doing well on the technical side, the process ended with silence. In another technical-heavy pipeline, I went through multiple rounds that grilled me for a long stretch and I felt I performed strongly in every one, yet the company still disappeared afterward—no response to emails or messages.
