I went through what felt like a focused two-round process, and it was specifically geared around manual testing. After the initial stage, the technical discussions centered on the fundamentals of manual testing—how the SDLC/STLC fits into testing work, how I design test cases, and what the defect life cycle looks like from discovery through closure. I also had to deal with SQL queries and explain my thinking through scenario-based testing questions.
What stood out was that they weren’t just checking memorized definitions. They kept probing how I approach problems, whether my testing knowledge was practical, and how my experience mapped to real-time QA work. By the end, the overall vibe was straightforward and competency-focused, and I felt like I understood what they were evaluating the entire time. I ended up getting an offer, so the process clearly went well for me.

I went through a longer, more mixed set of rounds that felt less like pure coding and more like an overall fit evaluation. The process included a group discussion, then an online coding assessment, followed by a techno-managerial discussion. After that there was a personality test and finally an HR discussion.
The whole thing leaned heavily on technical knowledge and problem-solving, but communication and teamwork were clearly part of the scoring too. The group discussion made it obvious they cared about how I interacted, not just what I knew, and the subsequent rounds kept circling back to that broader picture of how I’d operate day to day.

Aptitude & Screening Tests
Most candidates begin with a timed aptitude test that serves as a significant filtering stage, often leading to elimination for many. The tests typically include logical reasoning and basic quantitative questions, and the pressure to perform well is high.

Technical Coding Rounds
Candidates experience one or more technical coding rounds that assess programming skills and understanding of computer science fundamentals, often including coding challenges and multiple-choice questions. The difficulty is generally average, focusing on practical coding abilities rather than obscure algorithms.
Following technical assessments, candidates engage in managerial and behavioral interviews that evaluate communication skills, teamwork, and cultural fit. These discussions often involve situational questions and reflections on past experiences, emphasizing how candidates approach problem-solving.

Structured Process & Clear Expectations
The interview process is described as structured and organized, with clear expectations communicated at each stage. Candidates appreciate the straightforward flow, which helps them understand what is being evaluated throughout the process.
Interviews assess multiple dimensions beyond just technical skills, including personality fit and communication abilities. Candidates noted that the evaluation criteria were broad, which sometimes made it challenging to predict outcomes based solely on technical performance.
Candidates often reflect on their experiences with mixed outcomes, noting that while some received offers, others felt the process was competitive and left them unsure about their fit based on the specific expectations outlined during interviews.
