After my recruiter outreach, I had a first HR call where we talked about what I was looking for. Not long after, I moved into a technical track that started with a one-on-one conversation with a team lead. The discussion stayed grounded in my past projects and experience, and then I had to sketch out a scheme for one of the projects—explaining the shape of the solution rather than just talking abstractly. It felt like the interviewer cared about how I thought, and the overall vibe was positive.
The next step escalated the technical depth. I had an on-site technical interview with a single developer who asked multiple programming questions. What stood out was the emphasis on arriving at the solution and reasoning through the algorithm; I had to write small parts of the solution on paper or a whiteboard. After that, I sat down with a group lead focused heavily on system design and distributed, large-scale concerns. I genuinely enjoyed this part because it felt less like code trivia and more like thinking about architecture and tradeoffs.

Easy Neutral Herzliya
I started with a short phone conversation, then I went in for an interview with the head of the development department. A few days later I met with HR and the CEO as part of the on-site sequence. The office setup in Herzliya was described to me as open space and noisy, and they even mentioned breakfast being brought in for employees, which made the environment feel lively.
The HR interview ended up being the longest part, and the questions were pretty familiar and straightforward rather than obscure or overly tricky. Overall, the vibe around the team felt cool and promising, and I left the process feeling like they were genuinely interested.
