Average Negative Fargo, ND

My experience was frustrating from the logistics side. I scheduled a phone interview and they confirmed the time, but when it came up, the call never happened. I spent that time waiting, and after it didn’t materialize, I never got a clear explanation.

Later, I ran into the opposite problem: I was in the process but wasn’t kept informed. I had to ask multiple times where everything stood, and eventually I found out I wasn’t receiving an offer only because I pushed for an update rather than being told proactively. There was also a stretch where I waited a couple days without any notification after asking what was going on.

Average Positive United States

My process felt very technically focused right from the phone screen. We covered networking fundamentals in a way that really made OSI concepts and how the pieces fit together stand out. UDP vs. TCP came up, and I also had to talk through VLANs and switches/routers.

The interview didn’t stay shallow. It turned into a gauntlet-style set of rapid questions where I was expected to have solid, detailed knowledge—even down to extremely granular parts of Windows. The whole time, it felt like they were probing for depth rather than just checking buzzwords, and the questions kept building in specificity.
