The second interview was much more intense and face-to-face, with a heavy focus on cloud and DevOps. That round pushed into deeper questions rather than staying at surface level, and it genuinely felt like they were looking to understand how I’d think through real infrastructure problems, not just whether I’d heard of the buzzwords. I ended up feeling like the bar was higher there, and I didn’t end with an offer.

I interviewed in three rounds, and the structure was fairly clear: two technical conversations with the team and a final round that leaned more business-focused. The technical questions covered C# and SQL Server along with Web API work, and each round felt like it was building on the previous one.
The first technical interview was with a hiring manager, and the second was with two technical people, so the vibe shifted from leadership-style evaluation to a more detailed engineering check. By the time I reached the final business round, I felt like I had already been tested on the core stack, and that last step was more about how I’d fit into the bigger picture. Overall it was difficult in the sense that the scope was broad and the technical expectations were real, but I didn’t end up receiving an offer.
