Easy Neutral United States

I applied through the careers link and got a reply for a recruiter call. The call was mainly to learn about my background and it included a few behavioral questions. After that, the next step was a Java-focused technical screen.

That technical stage felt like it was anchored in what I had on my resume. I did a HackerRank-style coding round, followed by what turned into a loop-style sequence where I sat through multiple interviews back to back—one behavioral and several technical discussions. Across those technical parts, the focus stayed on explaining my experience, with coding and a bit of deeper evaluation that connected back to my prior work. The whole vibe was pretty standard and not overly tricky, but it required me to be ready to talk through my reasoning, not just give an answer.

Difficult Negative West Point, VA

After a recruiter step, I moved into a loop interview process. The first technical conversation was with a principal-level engineer and it centered on a technical problem or discussion delivered through HackerRank. I remember it felt like a real checkpoint—more demanding than an initial screen—where they were testing how I approached the problem, not just whether I could compute.

Once I progressed, the loop brought a mix of coding and design-style work. I ran into a couple of LeetCode-style questions plus a systems/infrastructure-flavored design discussion, and one round turned behavioral into something more technical, with whiteboarding to explain how I solved a problem. Then there were team-specific questions that got me explaining my approach and defending the decisions I made. By the end, I felt like the bar was high and the interviews demanded focus for a sustained period, and ultimately I didn’t get an offer from that round of interviews.
