I started with an HR call, and about a week later I moved into a coding interview that lasted around 45 minutes online. It felt like the “core” screening step: solve the problem live and communicate my thinking as I went. After that, I was invited to the Sunnyvale office for an onsite loop.
The onsite was a heavier multi-part day. I went through a group discussion first, then a system design round, then an AI-coding style interview, and finally a wrap-up discussion to close things out. Overall it didn’t feel like a single narrow test—more like they were checking whether I could switch modes between teamwork, architecture-level thinking, and coding on different prompts. The process had a clear structure and it stretched out over a few weeks end to end.

Average Negative United States
I felt like my process had some uneven organization from the beginning, with people communicating in ways that made the collaboration vibe vary depending on the round. The part that stuck out to me most was a hiring-manager style conversation that, instead of being purely about fit or leadership, turned into asking interviewees to explain their career choices while judging them. That combination didn’t land well for me.
Even though I don’t remember every technical detail, the general experience was noticeably less smooth than I expected. It wasn’t that I ran into one “hard” technical barrier—I more felt the process itself was muddled and the evaluation style in that manager round wasn’t thoughtful.
