My interview process followed a clear three-step structure, and it all felt fairly balanced between screening and deeper assessment. I started with a 15-minute pre-screen with the recruiter, then had a 30-minute technical interview with the manager, and finished with a 30-minute behavioral interview with the manager.

After the final interview, it took about a week for the recruiter to follow up. The overall pacing made it feel like each step was building toward a decision, rather than being a random set of conversations.

Average Positive Markham, ON

I went through an AMD interview where the vibe was friendly and mostly behavioral, with some technical questions mixed in. The technical part leaned more toward theory than hands-on application, and the topics ranged widely across things like computer architecture fundamentals, Linux, and shell scripting, plus digital design.

There were also plenty of resume-related questions—work experience and even clubs and extracurriculars came up. I appreciated how the interviewers made it conversational, but the breadth meant I needed to be ready to connect my background to multiple subject areas rather than just one narrow topic.
