I went through a pretty classic project management interview flow. After a recruiter conversation, I sat down with two team leads, and the process then moved to a second round with a senior manager. The tone felt friendly and easygoing overall, so I didn’t feel like I was being “tested” as much as talked through.

Most of the questions revolved around my prior experience and situational, behavioral prompts about how I handled team dynamics—what I would do if things weren’t working smoothly. There was also a noticeable focus on Agile/Scrum vocabulary and terminology, so the conversation kept circling back to how I’d operate in that kind of environment. At the end, it still felt supportive: even though there wasn’t an offer, I left with the impression that the group genuinely supported each other.

The first thing that happened was pretty administrative but structured: HR reached out, requested my resume, and then took about a week to assess my CV. A few days later, I had a video interview scheduled with the hiring manager. The tone there was encouraging, and the hiring manager seemed genuinely satisfied with my background.

After that, I was told a panel interview would be scheduled later. The awkward part was that I didn’t receive feedback afterward, and I had to wait without clear updates. That gap—where things felt like they were moving forward but I couldn’t see the finish line—stayed with me.
