Amazon Robotics Engineer Interview Experiences 2026
Real, anonymous reports from people who interviewed for Robotics Engineer at Amazon, newest first and distilled into what to expect across the loop.
My loop was split into two main rounds. The first was a gen AI focused round where I was given a coding question and then asked to modify the code using any AI model. The second round was still DSA-heavy, but they didn’t ask me to use AI for it. The difficulty level was on the easier side overall, and what made this feel different was the explicit requirement to involve AI during code modification rather than treating AI as something optional. I felt like I could follow along, even with the unusual twist, and the flow stayed straightforward.
My process started with an initial phone screen that was pretty typical—an initial recruiter-style conversation to verify background and role fit. After that, I had a hiring manager interview that delved into my technical experience, and the hiring manager was technical, which made the discussion more hands-on.
