After the assessment, I got invited to an initial screening round. The interviewer asked me three SQL questions, then shifted into a deep-dive style behavioral segment with about two or three questions tied to the theme. There was also a business case study mixed into the flow, so it wasn’t just pure coding or just stories.
Overall it felt fairly structured and on-topic for the role. I remember thinking the SQL portion was the most concrete part, and the behavioral deep dive was the piece that required me to stay crisp and specific with examples.

Difficult Negative Austin, TX
The process started off like it would include SQL and behavioral topics, but once the interview began it stayed entirely scenario-based and behavioral. I was surprised because I expected a live SQL technical assessment, and that never really materialized.
Afterward, the communication was rough. The recruiter didn’t respond to follow-up emails, and I only got an automated rejection notice a couple days later. Even though the interview itself felt focused on scenarios, the overall experience ended up feeling dismissive because I never got any real clarification.
