Difficult Negative São Paulo, São Paulo

I had a pretty demoralizing experience near the finish line. I received an email from the hiring team saying I was approved, so the process felt like it was essentially over. But the offer never arrived.

The gap between being marked as approved and not getting anything afterward was frustrating because I’d genuinely been excited at the prospect of joining. Instead, it turned into dead air.

Average Neutral United States

The timeline for me moved quickly but in a structured way: a recruiter screen, then a phone screen, and then the loop with several hour-long interviews. Across the loop, I kept getting leadership-principle prompts and then a lot of follow-up questions designed to verify how my answers demonstrated specific values, not just that I had “good” stories.

During the technical parts, I still saw a LeetCode problem—at least one showed up during the phone screen—while the loop interviews leaned strongly toward system-level thinking and AWS-flavored discussion along with leadership. The format felt consistent: different interviewers each took their turn, and each time they went back to leadership themes like ownership, customer focus, bias for action, earning trust, and delivering results.
