After a recruiter phone call, my process moved quickly into live interviews. About a week later I did a technical screen, and then the rest of the loop happened on a single day with multiple interviewers from different departments. Each person seemed to be targeting different leadership principle categories tied back to the role, so I couldn’t rely on repeating the same story in the exact same way for every discussion.
That same day included a bar raiser as part of the loop, with the explicit purpose of making sure the interviewers were asking enough questions to get a real signal on whether I’d be a good hire. The overall difficulty felt somewhere in the middle—structured and consistent, but still demanding because I had to stay sharp through many sessions and keep adjusting to the lens of each interviewer.

I got pulled into a long loop that felt almost procedural in how it rolled forward. It ended up being a full day with several interviewers, and a lot of what I heard circled back to similar, leadership-principle style behavioral questions. Even when the prompts changed slightly, I kept noticing that my answers sounded repetitive, because the questions were essentially testing the same themes.
The day itself was exhausting in a very particular way: it ran back-to-back with little breathing room, and at times it felt like the focus was more on checking boxes than genuinely engaging. One panel felt unfriendly and a bit superior, and I also saw moments where questions didn’t seem to connect to the actual role. On top of that, HR was slow in scheduling and the coordination left me with less time than I’d expected once meetings were finally set.
