After the early rounds, my experience turned into a long waiting game with inconsistent follow-through. I was told there would be a limited number of rounds, and once I cleared the technical steps, I waited for the next client interaction for about two weeks. Eventually I was told the position was on hold, and that they’d keep my resume for future openings. It felt like they were creating hope and then pulling it away.

Delays kept compounding in other ways too. In my case, HR had a third-party process that blocked my progress because documents weren’t submitted on time, and when I escalated the issue, it only led to more unclarity and worse delays. Even though I still saw an open client round slot in their portal after the fact, I raised concerns about removing my data.

My process started with a technical-focused discussion where I basically walked through my background and then got pulled into coding and testing scenarios tied to the job description. The interview included Java and OOP concepts—things like how inheritance behaves in code—along with automation and REST API testing scenarios. At multiple points I was asked to reason about what the code would do, not just recite definitions.

Later rounds leaned into more practical-style questioning. I had a QA angle that covered testing frameworks and how I’d apply Selenium and TestNG, along with topics like API testing and how I’d structure test coverage. One segment also felt like it was testing my fundamentals with short programming-style questions, where I had to commit to the logic and explain the approach.
