I started with a direct conversation with the hiring manager about the work I’d be doing and what projects I’d been involved in. After that, about a week later, I had a more technical screen where the focus was on my day-to-day approach and relevant experience—more about how I think and solve than trick questions.
The next step added more leadership context. I spoke again with the hiring manager and also with a local manager, and they asked a few technical questions to pressure-test my understanding. The overall feel was solid and professional; I walked away thinking the process was well run and that they were trying to map my background to the role.

My process felt like a longer, more intensive loop that tested both my technical depth and how I’d work in the bigger picture. It started with a resume-to-role conversation and then moved into detailed technical questioning about what I’d done before—talking through my past work and the reasoning behind it.
From there it became more demanding. I was pushed with algorithmic-style questions and also challenged on geometry and 3D thinking, with multiple prompts to think explicitly in three dimensions rather than vaguely. A separate manager-style conversation then focused on behavioral and situational reactions and how I saw my long-term goals lining up with the role.
