Average Positive Bucharest, Bucuresti

I went through a fairly straightforward set of interviews that still felt quite role-specific. After the initial screening, I had a technical conversation that leaned heavily into mechanical design fundamentals—things like stress/strain thinking, failure modes, and design tradeoffs. The discussion also touched on practical design examples (like beam-style reasoning and bolted-joint type questions), with a focus on how I approached the problem and how I explained my reasoning.

What stood out was how quickly the process moved into structured technical evaluation, followed by manager-level discussion. I also experienced a session where the team introduced the company and the overall work context, and then I introduced myself. Even when the content felt mostly aligned, I remember walking away feeling the job wasn’t exactly matched to my specialization, and that surprised me given the way the role was framed.
