Difficult Negative India

I applied through a referral in Delhi, and the whole process took about a month, but it ended with a serious communication breakdown. I started with a HackerRank test that included questions spanning Terraform, AWS, and Kubernetes, both multiple-choice and subjective.

Then I had a call with peers of the team that lasted more than an hour, with questions around the same stack and difficulty ranging from medium to difficult. Next was a one-hour cultural and team-fit discussion with the team lead that also touched on distributed systems like Elasticsearch, Kafka, Redis, and Postgres. After that, I had a one-hour call with the engineering head focused on CI/CD and Kubernetes, again ranging from medium to difficult.
